The Lobster Studio is focused on happiness—specifically, the happiness that comes from reconnecting to characters and memories related to our childhoods.

Some of our strongest bonds are formed to images we fell in love with in our youth. We want you to feel that childhood nostalgia while also having something genuinely beautiful that compliments your adult sensibilities.

Established in 2018, The Lobster Studio creates greeting cards and gifts starring an evergreen cast of picture book-inspired characters illustrated by artist Ken Crossland, a designer of New York Times bestselling and Newbery Medal winning children’s books. He proudly runs the company with his wife, actor/producer Rachel Lauren James.
